Upon_The_Wings_of_the_Wind a Dr. Tabitha New York Mystery by Craig Stephen Copland

UPON THE WINGS OF THE WIND

Airplanes can be murder weapons. Passengers who go up alive may come down dead.

During the 1920s, there was an enormous prize for the first person to fly from New York to Paris, or Paris to New York.
Several pilots perished pursuing it.

But the true prize, the one worth millions for years to come, was winning the US Government contract to deliver air mail.

Before, during and after Charles Lindbergh’s historic flight, several bodies turn up in Dr. Tabitha’s lab. All are connected in some way to the business of airplanes and the aeronautical industry.

Doc and Sarge, with the aid of two aging codgers from the Upper West Side, set out to find the killers and stop them. But the two of them and their two aging assistants run the risk of becoming the next victims.

Can two old boys become detectives, or will they only end up being an annoying nuisance? Or maybe both.
